Bateau is published bi-annually.
We read year round.
We accept electronic and post submissions. (Though we prefer electronic.)
To submit electronically, you must create an account (which you can do HERE).
No multiple genre submissions.
We only consider up to 5 works of any genre from a writer at a time.
Simultaneous submissions to other publications accepted. But please notify immediately. If you submit online, simply withdraw your work yourself.
We pay in copies.
We do not reprint previously published work or work that is concurrently available online.
Expect turnaround time to be 1-6 months.
Please be patient; we have other things to do.
We recommend ordering a copy of the magazine to better understand our aesthetics.
